This Web site was developed by Mark Patton and his wife, Mary Grace.
Mark has had 2 bone marrow transplants and 3 peripheral blood stem cell
transplants over the past 18 years to treat his multiple myeloma. He now
claims the unofficial, tongue-in-cheek title of The World’s Most Transplanted Person.
Shortly after Mark was diagnosed in 1991, Mary Grace went in to be tested as
a platelet donor. Her blood test revealed she has leukemia (CLL).
Mark and Mary Grace want to share what they have learned and experienced with
others who are undergoing BMTs and PBSCTs.
 What
We Do
In addition to developing this site, Mark has recently published a book
entitled, Over 140 Things You Need to Know about Your Autologous Bone Marrow
or Stem Cell Transplant. You can learn more about this book by clicking on
the Publications button to the left.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to The
Bone Marrow Foundation to help patients who need financial assistance with
their transplants.
